Studio vocalist & multi-instrumentalist, Heather Taylor was classically trained at The Crane School of Music. The North Carolina resident draws elements of blues, folk, jazz, Americana, and rock into her original songwriting and recording work. Her voice has been quoted to be "timeless", "powerful", "believable" and "passionate". Her original music has won songwriting competitions, won her spots and festivals in WNC, and was recognized as a “Best of” in local lyricists by Asheville's Mountain Xpress. She has been playing flute since she was five, and describes it as just another appendage. Her tone, quick turn around times, grasp of genre fluidity and technical prowess has attracted the attention of producers, trailer houses and is a reliable studio flutist. Heather replaced live shows with studio time recording songs meant for t.v. and film. Her music is represented by Crucial Music Library and Triple Scoop Music.
